A natural connection with women's sports organizations
The active lifestyle is at the heart of the inspiration for KSL's collections. Kathy thinks about women's needs when designing each garment. To ensure that they meet expectations, she does not hesitate to take to the field playing sports alongside many women and girls. As for taking a detour on the slopes, more often than not, Katy likes to do it in support of a cause that inspires her. KSL therefore participated in sporting events for Les Roses, FitSpirit and Women's Cycling Team and several others.
Donate clothes that bring hope
Everyone should have a little color in their life. Every woman has the right to have access to clothing that offers softness and comfort. This philosophy encourages us to regularly donate KSL clothing to accommodation or service centers dedicated to women.

The Grand Défi Pierre Lavoie
For more than 10 years, Katy St-Laurent has been involved with the Grand Défi Pierre Lavoie, a cause that is very close to her heart. In June 2023, on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the event, our team is pleased to have presented very nice gifts to the participants, namely: nearly 300 bicycle helmets and nearly 300 LOVELO dresses. We are very proud of our participation in this emblematic event. Plus, did you know that this is the year with the highest female participation?
A long love affair with the Charles Bruneau Foundation
Katy has been involved personally and on behalf of KSL in the fight against pediatric cancers for more than 20 years. Every year, she takes part in the Charles Bruneau Foundation cycling tour which raises funds for the cause. His riding experience also leads him to help several participants complete their challenge along the way. This seasoned athlete doesn't hesitate to share her tips with them or to push them when things are no longer moving forward. In short, she encourages many to achieve the goals they have set for themselves through her natural teamwork.

Joanna's Story
Over time, Katy grew closer to sick children. She first met little Joanna Comtois who wanted to be a fashion designer and model. Driven by a desire for this bright young girl to realize her dream, the founder of KSL managed to have her parade at the Montreal Fashion and Design Festival. Although the path to get her there wasn't easy, the pride in Joanna's eyes when she walked like a queen on stage was worth all the effort.
“ When the little girls at the Charles-Bruneau facilities learn that I am a fashion designer, their eyes fill with hearts. » - Katy

Alexe's story
So, a few years ago, Katy proposed to the Charles Bruneau Foundation to bring the arrival by bike of the Tour CIBC Charles-Bruneau to sick children using a tandem. It was with this beautiful, somewhat unusual idea that she met the beautiful Alexe. These two new partners worked together so that the young girl could prepare with confidence to pedal the kilometers that would allow her to reach the finish line. Unfortunately, Alexe passed away in 2021. In memory of this incredible young girl, KSL imagined a creation with her before she left: a dress that is both soft and comfortable and inspires hope and courage. For each sale of this unique piece, a $20 donation is given to the Foundation.

Story of Florence and Zoe
Florence is a bubbly young girl who began her participation in the CIBC Charles-Bruneau Tour in tandem with the entrepreneur behind KSL aka our national Katy. However, she didn't stop there. Encouraged by Katy, this fighter who is now in remission, already has her next challenge: pedaling alone to pave the way for other little girls who would like to cycle despite difficult health conditions. The best part of all this is that we can already see that Florence's passion inspires others since Zoé, 7 years old, is already ready to take over in the tandem that she leaves vacant!
