Let's be honest: March usually gives us a rollercoaster of weather emotions. Despite its promises of radiant sunshine, bright days and milder temperatures, its dual personality surprises us without warning with late nights, chilly mornings and snow-covered terraces.
At the same time, the new spring collections are making us dream with their vibrant and refreshing colors, and our wardrobe is begging us to add a few new things. With the month of March over, it's time to take stock. Did adding the latest KSL creations to my personal collection help me survive the last throes of winter? Well, the answer is yes, without a doubt. What's better than a brand new, beautiful little piece to update a dress or sweater that has been with us for a few months... and sometimes even a few years!
Now let's get to the facts. What have been my KSL favorites in recent weeks? As a musician, black is a big part of my wardrobe; I love its classicism, its elegance, its sobriety, its simplicity. I also love his super chameleon power which allows him to be juxtaposed with practically anything, no matter the context.
My No. 1 favorite: the Gloria poncho and its companion scarf... in black of course! A big fan of loose cuts, I am more than satisfied by the fluidity of this garment. Versatile, it goes perfectly with jeans for a casual look or with a Madonna dress and leggings for a more sophisticated touch. No matter the combination, I received multiple compliments and had to fight hard not to wear it for more than two days in a row. Pssst! The reversible Tina dress, worn as a scarf, forms a perfect duo with the Gloria poncho (and on sale for $29.99, it unfortunately flew away like hot cakes).
My second favorite is the sublime Anaïs dress. I must admit that the Daphné sweater won my heart a few months ago with its ribbed fabric which is of exceptional quality. When I discovered that the new Anaïs dress was made of it, I was convinced that I had to get it. Worn alone, it is magnificent! Worn as a combo with my new poncho, it is magical!
