The best of autumn

Nov 8, 2022

I love the freshness and colors of fall. I even like the rain sometimes (when you need a reason to cocoon). The problem is the rain that lasts for days, the gray sky that threatens to fall on our heads, the light that fades earlier and earlier in the evening. My morale is not invincible! Sometimes I need a little pick-me-up (and I don't mean alcohol). I'm sharing with you my three favorite "anti-seasonal depression" tips, and I'd really like to know yours... because you can never have too many.

Go outside, anyway

Rain, no rain, I'm going! Sometimes it takes a well-placed kick, but one thing is certain: I never regret. I feel strong, not to say bad ass, going out for a run when it rains. It's also the best time to go back to childhood by jumping in puddles. Then, I appreciate the comfort of my dry clothes even more afterwards!

Taking my warm clothes out of their summer storage

We agree that summer is rather short, but who knows why, I still have time 1- to get bored of certain pieces, and 2- to almost forget some of them! In short, taking out my bins of clothes is always a great moment of reunion. It's like shopping that doesn't cost me anything, hehe. This year, I put on the Valéry bolero as soon as I took it out. Long live the yellow which seems to say to the sun: “too bad if you're there or not, I'm there!” »

Many of my clothes are waiting their turn for the next few days: my Bianca sweaters, my Johanne pants, my Preslie sweater, my Sandrine and Rosie leggings, lark. It's been going on for years, this pleasure of finding my KSL clothes from the previous season... or from a few previous years. I've kept them for so long that my Tina sheepskin and my Diana jacket (first model, yes yes) are still part of the lot, or rather my big fall lot!

 Cooking comfort food

I'm passionate about cooking. It's a passion, it's my job and it's also one of my favorite hobbies. I cooked a lot of salads this summer. I've published more than one new recipe every week without getting bored, that's how much I love it. I have always been happy to share recipes for “no-cook” snacks and other refreshing snacks. But in November, I like to turn on the oven, warm and smell the house. I love cooking soups, baking muffins, sterilizing my canned goods, simmering spaghetti sauce and patiently stirring risotto.

With cooking, I combine business with pleasure. Not only do I love cooking, but I also love dressing up to shoot my recipe and nutrition advice clips. My KSL wardrobe makes this so nice! I always look at new things by imagining them on the screen, and currently, I have my eye on the Britney sweater and the Billy Bomber jacket 😉 To be continued!

Autumn is the perfect season to wrap yourself in softness. I wish you lots of it.
