“Whatever you dream of doing, start it. Boldness has genius, power and magic. » - Goethe

When was the last time you took some time to pursue your dreams?

Here is the story of a “superwoman”: she gets up quickly, downs a coffee in one gulp and sometimes even cold… dresses in KSL (of course) and rushes to work without even taking a deep breath. At work, things are rolling! She loves her job and wants to perform. She never has enough 24 hours in her day. Her “to-do” has hardly progressed until she has to go to daycare. Back home, the second shift begins. When (finally) all the kids are in bed, she takes care of the tornado that passed through the house... So when she finishes picking up everything, it's 10 p.m., she's exhausted... And the next morning, everything start again.

It's exhausting isn't it? But admit that there is some truth in that.

I bring you back to the big question: when do you take time to advance your most cherished dreams?

I hear you say NEVER... Worse still, it seems that most people have given up on the idea of achieving their dreams... it's sad, isn't it?

According to Confusius, it seems that we have two lives... The second begins the day we realize that we only have one. So, your second life begins TODAY! What are you going to do to make it magical and spread your wings??

One fine morning, I decided to take time for myself, give meaning to my life and make my dreams come true. I “stumbled” upon the book “Miracle Morning” by Hal Elrod. Read it, it changed my life, nothing less. It offers a morning routine to motivate us to conquer our dreams. So I'm sharing with you this little "Happiness" ritual that I try to do as often as possible, because yes, I dream with my eyes wide open to repeat the words of our beautiful Marie-Claude Riemann.

It is therefore, in all modesty and without any pretension, that I share my little ritual with you. Let me introduce myself: Pascale – lover of life – passionate about climbing and sports – mother of 3 beautiful boys including 2 twins – DoTERRA well-being advisor – Finance Superintendent and proud KSL consumer.

Manual :

Firstly, if it's possible for me, it's possible for you. Second, it’s not magical thinking, you have to take action and yes you have to get up earlier… Phew!!! Getting out of your warm and cozy sheets... Put on your Preslie sweater when you get out of bed, it's like a comfort blanket. You're not a morning girl, I wasn't either. It became my essence, a motivation to get up in the morning.

You are the most important person in your life. Be aware!!! No one is going to make your dreams come true for you.

I get up 30 minutes earlier but you can do it gradually. I put on my Angelina leggings, my Lizzy camisole and my Preslie to be comfortable. To rehydrate, I drink water flavored with lemon essential oil in my KSL bottle “a must” to wake up and energize. Don't reduce your sleeping hours, go to bed 30 minutes earlier and put a little lavender oil on your pillow to help you get a deep sleep.

SAVERS

Silence , A ffirmation, V isualization, Exercise , R eading and Screening . These are the 6 most recommended activities for personal development. Studies in positive psychology have proven the effectiveness of rituals in improving our level of happiness.

Silence : Meditation to reduce stress and have a clearer mind.

I sit on my yoga mat, I start my diffuser with the “Balance” mixture to ground myself and I meditate for 5 minutes. We want calm to soothe the little hamster who already wants to go to the day's tasks.

Affirmation : A phrase that we repeat to ourselves to develop our state of mind and allow us to accomplish everything we desire.

Still sitting on my mat, I repeat out loud to myself the affirmations that I have previously defined. It’s a goal with a What, Why, and When.

Example: I am determined to maintain a handstand for 1 minute without support from the wall, within 3 months in order to improve my stability and my physical strength when practicing climbing.

Visualization : Imagine yourself succeeding.

It is scientifically recognized that the brain does not differentiate between a real action or imagining itself doing it. Visualize yourself as precisely as possible on the summit of the mountain you want to climb or the country you want to visit. Involve all your senses; smell the smells, feel the emotions of being there and the pride of having succeeded. The more you do it, the more you'll feel like it's possible.

Reading : Reading to learn and develop.

We are not talking here about reading a novel (although that is entertaining) the goal is to learn new knowledge. Choose an inspiring book on knitting if you want to learn to knit or on personal development if you want to get to know yourself. If you read 10 pages every day, that's more than 10 books that you will have read in the year.

Scribing : Writing to collect your thoughts and ideas.

Whether by asking yourself a question, drawing an oracle or elaborating your gratitudes, all this can help you free your mind. So, run and buy a notebook, decorate it with the KSL sticker and its inspiring message IMAGINE-DARK-VISUALIZE your dreams and let your imagination guide you.

Exercise : take action.

A quick jog, stretching exercises or yoga, it's about getting active to start the day strong. The benefits of sport are well established: energy, better concentration, releases stress...

So! Adapt this routine to your lifestyle, put it in your own way to make it motivating. You don't have to do all the activities, the goal is to give ourselves time and think about our dreams. Our power over our lives is much greater than we think, so target your next dream and let's go !!!

I leave you with this quote from Christine Michaud which says: “So, what will you do for your life today? ".

xx
