Katy is an athlete with a meteoric rise: she became Canadian road cycling champion after only one year of training in this discipline. It must be said that the need to surpass oneself has always been deeply rooted in Katy. When she thinks about her journey, she sees herself in Gagnon, her hometown, sliding upright on a wild drag with her arms in the air and a smile on her face as she reaches the finish line. It is therefore not surprising that this tireless sportswoman did not hesitate to leave everything behind in order to devote herself entirely to her dream of joining the Canadian Olympic team .
